Neighbourhood Watch

Neighbourhood Watch Logo

Baginton Neighbourhood Watch has been operating within the village for 30 years. Information is regularly received from the police and passed round to all those who have elected to receive it via email. The information is also mounted on the Neighbourhood Watch website,, which is regularly updated with useful information.

Please report any incidents, regardless of how minor they might seem. Incidents involving injury, theft or damage must be reported to the police within 24 hours of their occurrence. It is vital that the person who witnesses the incident reports it, as the police will not act on third party reports, hence the Neighbourhood Watch cannot be used as a conduit for reporting these offences. If you wish to report a crime, then contact the crime desk number 01926 451111 or use the non emergency contact telephone number 101 that is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week (see below for further details). If it is urgent, or the incident is still in progress, you are advised to call the Police by dialling 999. If you have information on a crime and want to report it anonymously, then you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

For crime prevention advice, you can contact the Warwick Rural East Safer Neighbourhood Team on 01926 684471. The Team aims to respond to all messages within 24 hours. Non-Emergency Contact Telephone Number 101
You can call 101 from anywhere within the UK to report a crime that has already happened, seek crime prevention advice or make the police aware of any policing issues in your local area. For example: -

• If your car, bicycle or mobile phone has been stolen.
• If your garden shed has been broken into.
• If your property has been damaged.
• If you suspect drug use or dealing in your area.
• If you want to report a minor traffic collision.
• If you want to give the police information about crime in your area.

Always call 999 in an emergency i.e. when you need an immediate response because a crime is in progress; someone suspected of a crime is nearby; when there is danger to life; or when violence is being used or threatened.

When you call 101, you will be greeted by an automated system that will automatically identify your location and offer you the option of being connected to your local Police force. If you are calling within Warwickshire, your call will be answered by Warwickshire Police call handlers. If you would like a different force you will be given the option to speak to an operator to select your chosen area.
