Party in the Park 2017

Party in the Park LogoThank you very much to everyone who came along to the 7th Party in the Park, which was the most successful yet in terms of attendance and feedback.

It is only possible to put on this event with help from various local businesses and organisations and we would like to thank the following for their support: -
Baginton Stores; Bubbenhall First Responders; City Vinyl; Coventry Airport; Smiths Nurseries; Stableprint Printers; Tudor Environmental     

Every year the floral displays at the event get better and better and extra special thanks goes to Smiths Nurseries for their time and provision of these fabulous stage decorations. Without these beautiful potted flowers and shrubbery our staging would have looked very plain.  

 

A big thank you goes to all the volunteers who gave their time .. whether it was helping to put up marquees on the Friday, decorate the stage, stock the bar, serve on the pig roast or stand on the gate exchanging tickets for wristbands. There are too many to mention individually but we thank you for giving your time to help make this event what it was.  We hope to be able to count on your support for next year’s event.  

Our costs of putting on the event each year are in the region of £8,000+ by the time that sound, acts, toilets, staging and lighting have all been paid for. Proceeds from the Baginton Bonfire and all monies taken on this event whether it is from the bar, pig roast or gate admissions are ploughed back into Baginton Events to enable this event and other events to take place.  Baginton Events has also contributed £1,000 towards funding the new Millennium Field Gates.

The planning has already started for the 2018 event with the date having been set for Saturday 14th July.  Please put the date in your diaries and book your holidays around it. Tickets for this will go on sale on 1st January.

“Baginton Events” is a small group of villagers who meet regularly to plan, organise and fundraise events for our
